They make it seem like you can get all kinds of great stuff with their rewards program. You must save up points to buy the items.

But 99% of the time, the only thing available is an extra $5 you can buy for 500 points. A few times a year they do have some nice items available, but, (and here's why it's so FRUSTRATING) they display posters with the items available and the days or weeks they'll be available. But they're not available all of the time. They place them on the site randomly.

You never know what time a certain item will be available. Maybe midnight, 3:45a.m., 8:28 p.m., etc. TOTALLY RANDOM! Like right now, I have enough points to get a $1,000 Target gift card.

Great, right? Well, yes.

If I could stay logged in 24/7 from midnight 3/23 until midnight 3/30. This doesn't even seem like it should be legal And then, to to it all off, after saving my points for 2 1/2 years, they take them ALL back if I'm unable to donate for 30 days.

Ugh!

Reason of review: Bad quality.

I have been donating for 13 years. Back then there were multiple options to use points.

The past few years it has been like you described. No one at our center knows when the store will have items to purchase.

First off, you're not donating anything. You're selling and now have the nerve to get mad because they won't make it easy for you to win fabulous door prizes. Don't like it....Don't "Donate" there anymore...Problem Solved...You're Welcome

Spoken like someone with the highest sense of entitlement. You're frankly missing the point entirely.

While yes, we are technically "selling" our plasma to these folks, it's kind of a slap in the face when you have this rewards program being shoved down your throat everywhere you look, but when you finally get on, the only thing that is really available is an extra $5 "tip" for donating 500 times *and* reviewing each time. I mean, apparently they make like $200 per bottle on average (according a few sources about the Plasma industry) you'd think they could afford to compensate the base of the business a little better than just $5 when you've essentially earned them $~100,000.

Funny you should mention a "sense of entitlement". It's $200 per liter.

No one donates an entire liter in a donation. The max is 880 milliliters, which is 0.88 liters. That's $176. Out of that $176 they have to pay wages and salaries, facilities, utilities, transport, R&D, etc., etc.

and god forbid the people that risk money to do this actually make a profit and are rewarded for their investment. You are paid for your donation. This is a loyalty program that is offered in addition to that. Yes, if they say you will get and extra $5 then the should live up to that and pay it, but your statement that people are only compensated $5 is absurd.

The price your particular donation center pays is what the market commands. Would you pay more for something than you have to? I think not. Since you feel you are ENTITLED to more money then I suggest you simply find a market for your plasma yourself.

Let me know how much you've made after investing millions to sell your $200 liter of plasma.

If you want to be taken seriously then actually put some thought into what you are writing, rather than offer an emotional response because you are pissed over $5. Also, if you are pissed over $5 then you really need to reexamine your life.
